Red Mole on Scalp

Evolving: Any black mole that keeps on growing and acquiring other changes with time may also be cancerous. If it starts bleeding, itching or oozing, the attention of a doctor should be sought immediately.

To treat cancerous black mole on scalp, a biopsy is first carried out. This involves taking some tissue sample from it so it can be examined by a pathologist. In case the results are seen to bear cancerous cells, the entire mole and tissue surrounding it is cut

White Mole on Scalp

When white moles form on the scalp, they do so around an existing mole. Mostly, the one at the center is normal. Any white mole on scalp forms as an autoimmune response. This happens when a normal mole on scalp gets damaged as a result of exposure to sunlight.
